There are so many great resources out there to help you and your family make the most of the Christmas season in learning more about Jesus and his birth and what it means. Here are just a selection of free ones that I have found (as I am sure we are all strapped for cash just about now!)
- Advent Wonder, The Gift - with activities, wallcharts and prayers there is plenty to keep your family busy during advent with this free printable resource. This will encourage you to have bible time as a family. There is special advent bunting for you to make and tick boxes for activities so hopefully this will keep kids engaged. I think it might work better with slightly older children, but we will give it a go!! Its the last chance to download it this year so print it off even if you might not use it.
- Godventure Print Your Own Advent Pocket Cards - if you have one of those pocket advent calendars that you are filling with your own chocolates, then why not download and print off these verses to go inside them too. Victoria from Godventure also includes some more great ideas on how to use them at the bottom.
- The Well Good News of Jesus - The Bible Society have a selection of resources including a story book for kids, a pop-up nativity resource and free stickers for your christmas cards.
